Ok, elephants DO climb trees

After my recent post "Elephant's Don't Climb Trees" the absolutely magnificent Freddie has created this beautiful picture for me.

Elephants do climb trees

I'm blown away. This is absolutely fantastic.

Still, here's a glimpse of two of the ideas I've been playing with...

Slightly Inperfect template 1

Slightly Inperfect template 1

But, I just could not get satisfied with either of these attempts, or others that I've thrown out. Now, though, on to better things... with elephants climbing trees!! Thanks again Freddie, this is completely cool. :)

Hopefully, results of efforts will be posted soon after my return from jaunts away next week.

I just caught up with your blog. Good luck on your trip and that new drug. I hope Mrs. Owl got to read that post you dedicated to her.

Redesigns are awesome. I wish I had the skills to do my own instead of just stealing other people's. But hey, I'm a pirate.

mr. schprock - Thanks for that. So far, she hasn't read it, but kim came up with a plan... LOL

nick - The Internet is a vast chest of magnificent booty.

You are so talented with this shite. I wish I could re-create my blog with something more than the standard templates. Maybe 12-year old daughter will help me. Sad to admit, she knows the codes, I don't. =/

Love the elephant pic.

How are you doing with the meds, Mr. Owl?

I love the one with the metronome. You are majorly talented.

So how did that elephant get up in that tree anyway?

I'm stealing that... and I will mean it as Pirate booty, not the other kind.

celti - I'm really impressed. Freddie is a dude!

gk - I'm sure if you came up with the ideas of how you wanted your site to look, something could be done to get it together. :) My meds are still knocking me out a bit. I'm slightly spacey, shall we say... Thanks for asking GK. I appreciate your concern. :)

brooke - Why, thanks. :)

The elephant climbed the tree. That's all I know...

chris - He's a star, isn't he? Yay Freddie!

The meds seem to be fogging me up, but I know I have to wait. Maybe if you could pinch my cheeks it would wake me up! LOL

nypinta - booty is for pirating, and that's all there is. :) But would it take away the pleasure if I said you were welcome to it? LOL

nick - you better, you better, you bet. :P

Sounds like a cool elephant. Maybe he'd be interested in the nice pachyderm with the personal ad on my blog.

Holy crap, I can't believe how nice your blog looks! I now realize how completely computer illiterate I am by comparrison. Luckily it matchs my practical illiteracy, aka, inability to spell in english. Anyway, most awesome!

That is such a coooooool picture. Especially with the omnipotent-looking owl in the background just LOOMING.

Good luck with the drugs during adjustment period.

Find a nice owl picture you like and I'll play, too. I love to play.

As long as you don't try to pirate my booty.

Told ya they'd climb trees - didn't I?
Honestly? I found the metronome a lil overwhelming/intimidating (in time 'n' dating?).

Tis very cool...

I liked the bottom version aswell, very simple and elegant - oooww get me with the elegant...

It's like changing rooms all over again.

The elephants one is cool - I'm sure Laurence L Bowen would approve - lots of deep reds.

Owl my man, you left a comment about having a 'button' - what did you mean by that? How does that work?

brooke - Pachyderm passion is a surely a world class performance spectacle.

xray - I can't spell in most languages, so I think we're ok. ;) Thanks for the compliments. :D

braleigh - It really is, ain't it? Freddie is the MAN. I'm adjusting... I think. Thanks for the concern. :)

ubermilf - DUMBO!!! Mooowah! Well I been done seen 'bout everythin', when I see an elephant climb trees.

queen - I can't promise much, lassie, once I see the booty in me one good eye, arrr. :D

cali - I've spent so much time with metronomes. I drum, and I swing. Erm... actually ok. I'll leave that there! LOL

herge - I'm glad you left your opinion. I think the new look will be a hybrid of the elegant one and the elephant. And Lawrence won't like it, because I won't have enough MDF in it.

bill - thanks for that :) As you well know, it's one thing to get things this far, and another to climb the final hurdles. This is sketch stuff at best, the hard work is making it work! LOL
